Keeping ourselves in the good

HI folks!

I had some discussion with other recipients of federal/state aid the other day. It seems that most folks I talked to, have good hearts and believe in working to get ahead. There is always an perceptable reaction while conversing in the lines, waiting to see someone about benefits or jobs. We are all a little embarrassed it would seem.

Jeeeze!

HI folks!

I have been keeping current on the political situation, regarding the jobless, as best I may.

I'm pretty upset at the arrogant and uncaring attitude of some of our so-called leaders. Now one would like to think that these folks are " really concerned with the common good" . I listen to their aguments about cutting off the jobless from benefits they are entitled to as taxpayers. Cutting benifits earned by vets of the last few wars, also jobless and in need of care.

They strike again!

Hi folks:

Looks like the elite ubermen are striking out again. Seems our "reps" in DC want to cut back on food stamp benefits. Now I know that people have worked all their lives and paid taxes for these programs. Seems to me that the citizens of this country deserve to take advantage of these benefits when needed. I do, as I have worked for these past 40 years and paid my taxes as well.
