Hi Everyone:
Do you think you could obtain a job working with computers with the computer knowledge you now have?
Reason for asking:
It may just be me, but it seems that the "younger" generation (I am 52/lol) can just "slide" in some organization's door and thrive.
Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE computers when they decide to "cooperate" - but want to throw them out the window or door when they don't. So with this said, I do not have that "famous" degree that says I am computer smart.
With the economy the way it is now, employers can now be "picky" about these degrees.
Now I have an issue with these "degrees" - just because someone got it, does not mean that they KNOW how to do stuff. And by this I mean, let us not put folks aside who have "working knowledge"...
I will use me as example:
I KNEW Microsoft 2007, went to several classes, but was so GLAD to finally get a job that USED it smile Nothing like using it to back up that "book" knowledge...
Now your turn...
Thanks,
