This is real market research -- it won't make you rich, but it will make you some cash and won't cost you anything but a little time.
After not working for 3 months, I have an interview next week. I was terminated from my job of 7 years- basically the boss didn't like me. Additionally, I was making more than the rest of the staff, and I believe he wanted to hire someone new for a lot less pay. Anyway, how do I successfully and tactfully address the fact that I was fired from my job?? I really want this job and I don't want this fact to get in the way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Why would you address that?
When they ask why you left, just say that you felt like you had learned all you could in that job and wanted bigger challenges. You're excited about this job because...
Don't say jack about being fired, let go or whatever. Give them some very general answer that makes it seem like it was your choice to leave without directly saying so, then make a clean segue into why you're interested in this job.
If you feel that you have to tell them the terms under which you left, like they might actually check your references (in my experience they seldom do and even when they do they get a canned answer that says nothing about what kind of worker you were) then say, "Well, when they let me go, they were very apologetic and explained that the company was re-organizing and eliminating my position." Shrug it off. Then, again, bring it back to why you're a great fit for this position.
When life hands you sh*t, make fertilizer.
