Jobless again...

Watch me get another job!

For people who can read, this promises to be far more entertaining than reality TV.

Having a job rules -- rules so much I'm actually in the process of getting another. Last time I looked for a job, it didn't work out so well. Everything seems to work better for me when I just will my desired reality into being. With every effort there is a point of diminishing marginal returns.

Here is me willing myself another job.

Exciting, right!

Now that I'm a grizzled unemployment veteran, I'm doing things differently. If I don't have a job within 45 days of this post, I will:

  • Be very surprised.
  • Totally not sweat it.
  • Make just as much if not more money than I would in a job.

Far be it from me to tell anyone how to live their lives, but the main thing is just to stay busy. You do that, you'll be OK. That's been my experience, anyway.

Jobless but not hopeless,
Chuck

Interesting!

So Chuck you are now officially jobless again?

Are you getting unemployment?

Hate to see you are back with us, but GLAD to see your posts. We have been missing you while you were tied up big time with your workload.

Looking forward to hearing more from you :)

barely employed

Hello Chuck I guess youre employed again which is a good thing but Im one of the new kind of American which are barely employed this means you work a job called "on call" meaning you may work only 2 dys out of a month. I know Im blessed b/c I at least I have a job but sometime it is incredibly painful doing it. The economy is bad which mean it brings out the worse in the business market ,employers feel they can do whatever they feel like b/c the always have a supply of workers who will do anything to get a job. You apply for jobs and just dont hear anything for weeks until you just assume you didnt get it. Recruiters are the worse if you cannot doing anything for them they just throw you to the curb and that is it. I feel that the American govt has turned it's back on the American people unless you can full thier bank accounts with campaign funds then you dont really have a say in how the govtment is run, your voice doesnt count. the wealthy will always secure their own future what about the rest of us?? On a different note maybe it would better not to count how many interviews you go on or application you send out maybe it will take a 1000 applications and 20 interviews just DONT STOP and keep fighting untill you reach your goal.God bless

That really sucks

How are you supposed to survive working two days a month? My friend, that's unemployed, not "barely employed."

I totally feel you on how our politicians and government just doesn't care anymore. They serve the ones who fund them, not the citizens. It's sad.

I heard some moron on teevee talking about how the top 1 percent pay 38 percent of the total taxes. Yeah, well, they control 70 percent of the wealth so just how fair is that?

Best of luck to you. Maintain the fighting spirit and I know it will all work out for you.

When life hands you sh*t, make fertilizer.
